Minnesota Public Radio today announced that Kenneth “Ken” Holmen, M.D., president and CEO of CentraCare Health, has been elected to MPR’s board of trustees. Dr. Holmen has led the St. Cloud-headquartered health system since January of 2015.
The Current today announced the launch of a new hip-hop and R&B show. The Message, hosted by Sanni Brown and Sean McPherson, will air Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. beginning October 10.

Minnesota Public Radio News announced this week that its latest podcast, Rivers of Oil, will focus on oil pipelines, through the lens of the Line 3 pipeline project in Minnesota. The trailer is now available, and the first of five episodes will publish Tuesday, June 19.
