Minnesota Public Radio Brings News and Information Programming to 103.1 FM in Sleepy Eye

Minnesota Public Radio announced today that MPR News has added a new radio frequency in the Sleepy Eye area and is broadcasting it at 103.1 FM. The new frequency, which joins MPR's classical music station at 90.5 FM, will provide extended service to listeners in the region.
Residents of Sleepy Eye will hear the best of regional MPR News--programs like Morning Edition, Midmorning and Midday--as well as national programming such as Car Talk,® This American Life,® The Splendid Table,® Speaking of Faith,® and everyone's favorite, A Prairie Home Companion.®
"We are proud to bring the MPR News service to listeners in Sleepy Eye," said Chris Cross, manager, Regional Networks. "Minnesota Public Radio believes in an informed citizenry, seeking to bring the best news and information to all residents in Minnesota."
