Minnesota Public Radio Brings Classical Music Programming to 95.5 FM in Brookings

Minnesota Public Radio announced today that MPR Classical has added a new radio frequency in the Brookings area and is broadcasting it at 95.5 FM. The new frequency will provide extended service to listeners in the region.
Residents of Brookings will hear the best of MPR Classical music--programs like the Minnesota Orchestra and the Minnesota Opera, as well as national programming from American Public Media-- Performance Today,® SymphonyCast,® Saint Paul Sunday,® Pipedreams,® and everyone's favorite, A Prairie Home Companion.®
"We are proud to bring the MPR Classical music service to listeners in Brookings," said Chris Cross, manager, Regional Networks. "Minnesota Public Radio believes in an informed citizenry, seeking to bring the best news and information to all residents in Minnesota."
Programming in Greater Minnesota is possible in part by funding from the State of Minnesota as well support from underwriters and members.
