Minnesota Public Radio Debuts Fresh Web Site Redesigns for Classical Minnesota Public Radio and The Current
Jul 8, 2009
(St. Paul, Minn.)--July 8, 2009--Minnesota Public Radio announced today the debut of fresh Web designs for its two music services-- The Current and ClassicalMPR. The designs will make it even easier for listeners to experience the programming and special online features--easy access to live Web streams of music, playlists, video of in-studio performances, blogs and song downloads of the day.
Music fans are driving changes in the media, and ClassicalMPR and The Current's Web sites are tailored for the Web savvy, higher digital expectations and behaviors from users. The sites mirror the quiet elegance of Classical MPR listeners and the edgier attitude of The Current, all while creating a gathering place for both virtual and real communities.
"MPR's Web sites further our mission and vision," said Tim Roesler, senior vice president and general manager for Minnesota Public Radio. "By being a leader in creating quality online content, we seek to be the most relevant, innovative and insightful media company in America."
