WHAT: Join The Current's Steve Seel for this installment of the "Policy and a Pint" series. For "The Elements of Education," Seel will be joined by Amber Damm, Minnesota's Teacher of the Year, and Nathan Eklund, former teacher and author of "How Was Your Day at School?"

The conversation will feature such topics as: What makes a good teacher? What changes do we need to see in teaching to ensure the best futures for children? How much input should parents have in their children's education? How much responsibility should they take?

About Policy and a Pint

"Policy and a Pint" is an ongoing series co-sponsored by Minnesota Public Radio's 89.3 The Current and Citizens League. The series' goal is to provide an informal setting for the public to come and discuss important policy issues with community leaders and thinkers.
