Tune in for coast-to-coast classical specials tonight
Oct 8, 2009
Classical Minnesota Public Radio is proud to bring you two very special live broadcasts tonight.
First, at 7 p.m., join our friends at WNYC public radio in New York for a live concert broadcast from Carnegie Hall. This event is in celebration of WNYC's purchase of WQXR from the New York Times, thereby preserving Classical music on the airwaves in New York City.
Then at 9:00 p.m., listen to what is being hailed as "the classical event of the season." Venezuelan superstar Gustavo Dudamel begins his tenure as Music Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic
Don't miss these monumental classical music events. Make sure your radio is tuned to Classical MPR -- or stream it live on classicalmpr.org.
