Minnesota Public Radio announced today that its eclectic music service The Current will broadcast in the Mankato area on 105.1 FM and on 95.3 FM.

Residents of Mankato will now be able to hear The Current on two places on the radio dial. The service brings listeners the best authentic new music alongside the music that inspired it, from local to legendary, indie to influential, new to nostalgic.

"We are proud to bring The Current to listeners in Mankato," said Chris Cross, manager, Regional Networks. "Minnesota Public Radio is Minnesota's largest cultural institution and believes in enriching the minds and nourishing the spirits of its audience."

Programming in Greater Minnesota is made possible in part by support from underwriters and members.
