89.3 The Current Debuts New Prince Song This Friday, Feb. 26 at 7 a.m. CT

(St. Paul, Minn.)--February 24, 2010--Minnesota Public Radio's eclectic music service--89.3 The Current--will debut a brand new song from Prince this Friday, Feb. 26 at 7 a.m. CT.
Last week, Prince's representative called to offer The Current a new and exclusive song--"Cause and Effect"--and to give it its world debut. Prince has long been a supporter of his home in the Twin Cities, and recently appeared at The Current's 5th anniversary party at First Avenue, Minneapolis, to show his support for the eclectic music station.
Tune In: 7 a.m. Friday, February 26; Prince's song will also be replayed several times that day. 89.3 The Current is heard on KCMP 89.3 FM in the Twin Cities, KMSE 88.7 FM in Rochester, and via a worldwide stream on thecurrent.org.
