Minnesota Public Radio Brings The Current's Eclectic Music Programming to New Ulm on 95.3 FM

(St. Paul, Minn.) --July 13, 2010-- Minnesota Public Radio announced today that The Current will broadcast in the New Ulm area on 95.3 FM.
Residents of New Ulm will now be able to hear The Current--a service that brings listeners the best authentic new music alongside the music that inspired it, from local to legendary, indie to influential, new to nostalgic.
"We are proud to expand The Current to listeners in New Ulm," said Chris Cross, manager, Regional Networks. "The Current is dedicated to supporting the Minnesota music scene. We believe New Ulm listeners will appreciate hearing all the great music and enjoy discovering what's being created right here at home."

The Current began broadcasting in 2005 as a non-commercial, member-supported radio station based in Minneapolis / St. Paul. The Current is broadcast on stations in the Twin Cities and Rochester, and is heard via low-power translator in the communities of New Ulm, Mankato, Austin, St. Peter and Hinckley. The Current can also be found on HD Radio in St. Cloud.
