KARE 11 and MPR News Present "The Job Interview for Governor" October 27 at the Macalester College Chapel

Oct 13, 2010

Minnesota voters invited to participate in an executive search

WHAT: KARE 11, MPR News and a live audience are teaming up Oct. 27 to find out what kind of a leader Minnesota's new governor--or chief executive--will be.

The gubernatorial candidates won't be asked about budgets, the economy or health care. Instead, they'll be answering questions designed to give voters insight into their leadership qualities--integrity, vision, courage and values.

Join MPR News' Kerri Miller and KARE 11's John Croman at the Macalester College Chapel in St. Paul as the gubernatorial candidates--Mark Dayton, Tom Emmer and Tom Horner--submit to a job interview, fielding questions from all around the state.

The audience will be able to submit an interview question in advance when they RSVP to the event online.

WHEN: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 27.

WHERE: Macalester College Chapel, 1600 Grand Ave., St. Paul

TICKETS: Admission is free, but RSVP is required. Go to MPRNews.org and click on "Events."

TUNE IN: A live webstream of "The Job Interview for Governor" will be available on the Kare11.com and MPRNews.org websites. Portions of the event will be recorded for broadcast on KARE 11News and MPR News.
