WHAT: Minnesota Public Radio welcomes three journalism veterans to this spring's Broadcast Journalist Series: Admired global affairs reporter and author, T.R. Reid; esteemed writer for "The New Yorker" and author Ken Auletta; lecturer and legendary film critic, Kenneth Turan.

Now in its 14th year, Minnesota Public Radio's Broadcast Journalist Series commissions journalists and correspondents four times a year. While here, they share their insights on their craft as well as on people and events that affect them professionally.

February 21: Broadcast Journalist Series with T.R. Reid. Hosted by Minnesota Public Radio's Steven John

T.R. Reid has become one of the nation's best-known correspondents through his coverage of global affairs for "The Washington Post," his books and documentary films, and his light-hearted commentaries on National Public Radio.

March 3: Broadcast Journalist Series with Ken Auletta. Hosted by Minnesota Public Radio's Kerri Miller

Ken Auletta has written Annals of Communications columns and profiles for "The New Yorker" magazine since 1992. He is the author of eleven books, including five national bestsellers. Auletta's latest book, "Googled: The End of The World As We Know It," was published in November of 2009.

April 21: Broadcast Journalist Series with Kenneth Turan. Hosted by Minnesota Public Radio's Stephanie Curtis

Kenneth Turan is the Lecturer in the Master of Professional Writing Program at the University of Southern California and is the film critic for the "Los Angeles Times" and NPR's "Morning Edition," as well as the director of the "Los Angeles Times" Book Prizes.
