Minnesota Public Radio's Broadcast Journalist Series Continues with Ken Auletta on March 3

WHEN: Thursday, March 3, 7 p.m.
WHAT: Minnesota Public Radio presents Ken Auletta as part of its Broadcast Journalist Series. Auletta, an esteemed writer for "The New Yorker" and author, will speak with Minnesota Public Radio's Kerri Miller on March 3 in the auditorium of O'Shaughnessy Educational Center at the University of St. Thomas.
Auletta will discuss the upheavals that the digital world is causing in the news, media and entertainment industries. He'll discuss how the Twitter-verse has altered the way the President communicates with the press, the battle over whether the world can have both plentiful information and reliable information and whether Google will remain the impregnable force it appears to be today.
Auletta has written Annals of Communications columns and profiles for "The New Yorker" magazine since 1992. He is the author of eleven books, including five national bestsellers. Auletta's latest book, "Googled: The End of The World As We Know It," was published in November of 2009.
