Minnesota Public Radio Presents Pat Donohue in Revue March 12 at the Fitzgerald Theater

Roma di Luna, Butch Thompson and more join Donohue to honor old-timey rural radio stars

WHAT: Minnesota Public Radio presents Pat Donohue: In Revue, an evening that honors the rural radio stars of the 30's, 40's, and 50's. Grammy award winning Pat Donohue has studied guitar and the many rural influences that have created his unique American sound. Join Donohue as he pays tributes to such stars as Woody Guthrie, The Carter Family, Hank Williams, Sunny Boy Williamson, and so many more. His musical guests include Butch Thompson on piano, renowned fiddler Stuart Duncan, and the husband and wife duo of Roma di Luna, local favorites heard frequently on 89.3 The Current. The evening will be a full stage of performers with harmonica, steel guitar, banjo all as part of his house band for what will prove to be a night of great music.

Other talents rounding out the night include harmonica player Noah Hoehn, drummer Peter Johnson, bassist Gary Raynor and pedal steel player Joe Savage.
