"WRITING MINNESOTA" ON MPR NEWS

WHAT: Tune-in as host Annie Baxter features Minnesota writers in a special one-hour collaboration with the Loft Literary Center. Writers, actors, and radio producers pooled their talents to create "Writing Minnesota." TUNE IN:, Friday, April 15th at noon and Sunday, April 17th at 6 p.m.

More About the Program:
Host Annie Baxter guides listeners through some of the most exciting literary work in the state. There's some non-fiction that might change your ideas of what it means to be Minnesotan. There are poems that will delight and beguile. The program's centerpiece is a radio adaptation of "The Winner," a short story by celebrated author Charles Baxter (no relation to Annie). "Writing Minnesota" is supported in part by the Minnesota Legacy Amendment's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
More About Annie Baxter: Annie Baxter is an MPR reporter, fiction writer, and recipient of several state writing grants. Annie also has two M.A.s -- one in Rhetoric and one in Comparative Literature.
