(St. Paul, Minn.) - June 17, 2011 - 89.3 The Current in the Twin Cities and KEXP 90.3 in Seattle will swap songs from hometown artists in "The Music Exchange" -- The Current's ongoing project to share emerging music from different scenes around the country.
KEXP's Kevin Cole and 89.3 The Current's Mark Wheat will unveil new music and commentary - on air and online - throughout the week June 20-24, 2011.
"Fans of the seminal REV 105 radio station will remember when Kevin Cole was a DJ there," said Mark Wheat, DJ, 89.3 The Current. "And everyone knows that Seattle and Minneapolis/St. Paul have long produced this country's best new music. It'll be fun to hear what Kevin will share in this Music Exchange. And we're just as eager to share what the Twin Cities sounds like these days."
