89.3 The Current Announces New Programming at 10 p.m. Weeknights Starting July 11, 2011

(St. Paul, Minn.)--June 29, 2011--Starting on Monday, July 11, 89.3 The Current will begin broadcasting specialty programming during the 10 p.m. hour weeknights. The lineup explores new music and international releases, expands the popular "Music Heads" specialty show and welcomes Jake Rudh, one of the most popular local club DJs, to the air.
* Mondays at 10 p.m.--"The New Hot," an hour of new releases, hosted by The Current's Co-Music Director David Safar
* Tuesdays at 10 p.m.--"Music Heads," already a favorite on The Current hosted by Bill DeVille, the show has expanded into an aural music magazine
* Wednesdays at 10 p.m.--"Passport Approved," hosted by Sat Bisla, is an import show that brings you the prime cuts of emerging and breakthrough international music
* Thursdays at 10 p.m.--"Transmission," hosted by Twin Cities DJ Jake Rudh, brings his popular new wave, post-punk and indie mix to the airwaves
