Minnesota Public Radio and American Public Media Names Nick Kereakos Vice President of Technology and Operations

(St. Paul, Minn.)--Sept. 22, 2011--Minnesota Public Radio | American Public Media has named Nick Kereakos Vice President of Technology and Operations. He will oversee and direct the organization's technology, production, operations, technical facilities and content distribution.
"We're pleased that Nick will be expanding his portfolio of responsibilities with us," said Dave Kansas, chief operating officer for American Public Media. "It's a big job, and with Nick's proven success record here, we're more than confident that he's ready to lead our continued efforts to integrate traditional and leading edge media."
Kereakos joined MPR|APM more than 12 years ago, and during that time, he has served as APM's managing director for media technology and broadcast operations and held other leadership roles--including senior audio producer of the Minnesota Orchestra national broadcast series, The Splendid Table®, Sound Money® and Minnesota Public Radio's regional broadcasts of the Minnesota Opera. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and a fellowship alumnus of the Aspen Music Festival and School in Aspen, Colorado.
