Minnesota Public Radio and American Public Media Names Mary Pat Ladner Vice President of Marketing and Communications

(St. Paul, Minn.)--November 11, 2011--Minnesota Public Radio | American Public Media has named Mary Pat Ladner Vice President of Marketing and Communications, and Chief Marketing Officer. Ladner leads all marketing, communications, research and commerce for American Public Media Group.

Ladner joined MPR|APM in 2006 as Managing Director of Marketing. Prior to working for MPR|APM, Ladner spent five years at Target, where she led planning, creative and production for their interactive group. Her career has also included working in sales at Land 'O Lakes and account management at Saatchi & Saatchi, New York. Ladner has received a range of awards for her work -- from Webbys to Gold Effies from the NY Marketing Association. A Twin Cities native, Ladner serves on the board of the Integrated Media Association (iMA) nationally and the Friends of the Hennepin County Library locally. Ladner is a graduate of Derham Hall and Montana State University and has completed additional course work at New York University in marketing and at the University of St. Thomas in non-profit management.
