More about the event
While the choir exists primarily to sing the daily services in King's College Chapel, its worldwide fame and reputation, enhanced by its many recordings, has led to invitations to perform around the globe, and to an extensive international tour schedule.

The Choir owes its existence to King Henry VI, who envisaged the daily singing of services in his magnificent chapel. This remains the Choir's raison d'etre, and is an important part of the lives of its 16 choristers, who are educated on generous scholarships at King's College School, and the 14 choral scholars and two organ scholars, who study a variety of subjects in the College.

Choral music is a treasured part of Minnesota communities and Classical MPR recognizes that vital piece of our local culture. Classical MPR is committed to harnessing the incredible power of choral music for the benefit of audiences and communities throughout Minnesota. Learn more at classicalmpr.org/choral .
