The Pines to join Radio Heartland Anniversary Party Lineup

Indie roots band The Pines will headline the Radio Heartland fifth Anniversary Party at the Aster Cafe on Wednesday, December 11.

One of the most distinct and powerful indie-rock/Americana groups to hit the national scene in years, The Pines weave together many musical styles to create their own unique sound that is hip and haunting. Acoustic roots band Steve Kaul and the Brass Kings and folk singer and songwriter Peter Mayer are also on the bill.

Launched in December 2008, Radio Heartland is a 24-hour service featuring acoustic, Americana and roots music. Radio Heartland is available in the Twin Cities on KNOW-FM 91.1 HD2 and worldwide at radioheartland.org .
