"MPR News Presents" to Replace "Tell Me More"

MPR News today announced that its noon program MPR News Presents will now be rebroadcast, weeknights at 9 p.m., beginning August 4, 2014. This program will replace Tell Me More, which was canceled by NPR as of August 1.

"We are disappointed that Tell Me More was canceled by NPR but happy to give our audience a rebroadcast of MPR News Presents every weeknight," said Chris Worthington, managing director of MPR News. "We know our listeners appreciate the program's variety of viewpoints on public affairs and wide-ranging topics presented in a variety of formats, from National Press Club speeches, to Aspen Ideas Festival talks and BBC documentaries."

Tune in: MPR News Presents can be heard daily, Monday through Friday, from noon- 1 p.m. and from 9-10 p.m., on all MPR News stations, including 91.1 FM in the Twin Cities and online at mprnews.org.
