Little Moments Count Radio Podcast

As a collaborative movement, Little Moments Count partners are out in the community promoting the benefits of brain development in the first 1000 days of life. That’s because activities that build brain power also promote health equity and healthier outcomes in later life.

The Little Moments Count Radio Podcast was created in partnership with Minnesota Public Radio and community radio stations throughout Minnesota. With community radio partners including KRSM 98.9FM, AM950 Native Roots Radio, KMOJ 89.9FM and WFNU 94.1FM, Little Moments Count is hosting conversations with educators, early childhood experts, pediatricians, community leaders, educators, and others. These rich conversations reflect the unique cultural and geographic perspectives of our community radio partners, and the result is a meaningful sharing of information with listeners, and an increased awareness about how parents, caregivers, and members of the community can have an impact on the young children in their lives.

Little Moments Count Radio Podcast offers a collection of powerful audio stories about social and health justice, early childhood brain development and so much more. With 20 episodes now available, we’re excited to share the Little Moments Count Radio Podcast as a new, robust resource for parents and caregivers. You can subscribe to Little Moments Count Radio Podcast on Apple Podcasts or Spotify, or find it at https://www.littlemomentscount.org/radio-podcast.

More about Little Moments Count:
Little Moments Count is a statewide movement to help parents and the community understand the importance of talking, playing, reading, and singing early and often with children.  These types of positive interactions and experiences in early childhood greatly impact health and well-being outcomes later in life.
