MPR News Programming to Begin Broadcasting on KAUR 89.1 FM Starting September 15, 2009

Augustana College and Minnesota Public Radio announced today that MPR News will begin broadcasting on KAUR 89.1 FM starting September 15, 2009. Augustana College will continue to own the station, located on its Sioux Falls campus, and MPR will provide day-to-day programming, operations and maintenance.

Minnesota Public Radio Names Cathy Nevanen Network Sales Manager

Minnesota Public Radio announced today that it has named Cathy Nevanen network sales supervisor. In addition to her current responsibilities as sales account executive for MPR's Duluth network station, Nevanen will supervise MPR network stations sales representatives in Collegeville, Rochester, Bemidji/Brainerd and Moorhead, Minn. Nevanen will assume her new responsibilities on August 31, 2009.
